Tuesday Tip: Thought Gravity

Bad thoughts are like flies.

Have you ever noticed how flies always travel in groups?  If you see one, then you’re bound to see another.

Then there is two, not so bad. Not the greatest either. Then you see three, then you see a really fat lazy one.

The next thing you know you’re swatting for your life.

I know this is a disgusting analogy and I’m sure you’re wondering where this is going…

Two words: Thought Gravity

Yes, I made that up. But everything is made-up or copied so forget that part.

What comes to your mind when you see those two words: Thought Gravity?

I think of religion, the Secret, and the laws of attraction.

Some people might be offended to see religion in that group.

I think religion is the most powerful example.

Religion is a collection of cultural systemsbelief systems, and worldviews that relate humanity to spirituality and, sometimes, to moral values.

Faith is a central part of western religion and the biggest example of thought gravity.

Gravity according to the World English Dictionary:

A force or attraction that moves or tends to move bodies towards the centre of a celestial body.

We/You are a celestial body. Your center is your heart.

Whatever you think or desire from your heart, you draw in.

Let’s get back to those flies for a second.

Example: you notice one fly, then you see another, another, and then d*mn.  They seem to be everywhere.

Admittedly this maybe a really silly example, but consider what if thinking about the first fly draws the second, third and so forth.

Not to saying that you desire flies in your life.

But flies, negative thoughts, and negativity in general isn’t something anyone wants. But it doesn’t stop them from entering your mind.

Thought Gravity

The next time you see that fly aka (negative thought) try this: I’m sure happy there is just one fly or (bad thought) and I will be happy when it goes away.

The flies are metaphors for the negative(s) in your life.  They travel in packs.

Feed your mind positive outcomes and the flies will start to disperse.

That’s it for Tuesday.

I know you have something to say!
